At present, Algeria is developing its iron ore resources on a large scale in accordance with the instructions of President Teben. The Ministry of Mines and Transportation of Algeria should form a professional team together with Chinese companies to be responsible for formulating and implementing the roadmap for relevant projects.

Akab said that Algeria is currently actively promoting the development and construction of the Carl Kibilit iron ore mine, which is an important part of President Teben's commitment to develop Algeria's own mineral resources. According to the plan, the project will start the construction of iron ore mining, storage, processing and other infrastructure, and plans to build a new railway line connecting Tindouf to Bechar to meet the large-scale transportation capacity of pig iron ore and related products.
