On November 13, 2022, CRRC's offshore wind turbine was officially launched in Sheyang, Jiangsu Province. This offshore wind turbine is developed by CRRC Zhuzhou Institute, which has achieved full coverage of 8-12MW power level, 225 m impeller diameter, and a swept area of about 40000 square meters, equivalent to about 5.6 standard football fields.

The unit adopts a series of advanced technologies and cost optimal design concepts, such as efficient power generation blade design, lightweight semi direct drive structure, high fault tolerance electrical system, box transformer overhead, integrated hoisting, and in engine room track inspection robot, and is committed to becoming a fair price tool for China's offshore wind power.Editor/Ma Xue
