Recently, the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the third batch of 5G+ industrial Internet demonstration factory list, a total of 10 factories were selected, Sany wind power 5G+ Industrial Internet project, based on the 5G+ industrial Internet of heavy commercial vehicle intelligent manufacturing factory two major projects on the list, to speed up the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry in Hunan model.

In Sany Wind Power 5G+ Industrial Internet demonstration factory, integrating 5G, high-precision positioning and digital twins and other technologies, Sany Heavy Energy independently developed the first domestic wind power manufacturing digital unit platform to realize the digital intelligence and iot connection of virtual factories and real factories, which is equivalent to creating a "one-to-one" online digital factory outside the physical factory.

The platform realizes the intelligent supervision of the whole production factors of man-machine-material-French-environment-quality, implements the whole process control of all process links that affect product quality, changes the traditional wind power blade production mode, greatly improves the wind power blade product quality and production efficiency, and provides customers with high-quality wind power products. In March 2023, the world's longest 104-meter onshore wind turbine blade of Sany Heavy Energy was rolled off the production line at the plant.

In the Fifth Blooming Cup 5G Application Solicitation competition hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the project also stood out and was recognized. Into Sany heavy truck based on 5G+ industrial Internet heavy commercial vehicle intelligent manufacturing factory, a line of production lines neatly arranged, AGV automatic transport vehicles shuttle back and forth, huge industrial robots lift as if light, the robot arm equipped with visual sensing flexible dance...... The entire factory is shrouded in an invisible 5G network.

The overall plan of the project is 1 network +8 application scenarios. Industry-leading 5G+ industrial Internet and intelligent manufacturing technology are adopted to realize the landing of 5G in 8 industrial application scenarios such as production process traceability, factory intelligent logistics, equipment collaborative work, and production energy efficiency control. And in the intelligent network heavy truck and its core parts stamping, welding, painting, assembly, logistics and other manufacturing processes to carry out application demonstration.

Through data-driven, the factory integrates supply resources, automatically schedules production, optimizes resource utilization, maximizes production efficiency, realizes material distribution automation rate ≥99%, workshop distribution efficiency increased by 50%, site utilization increased by 166%, workshop robot automation rate 100%, electricity cost decreased by 10%, and so on.

Starting from 2021, Hunan has announced three batches of a total of 30 5G+ industrial Internet demonstration factory list, including Sany restart 5G+ Industrial Internet truck crane factory application scenario, Sany heavy truck based on 5G+ industrial Internet heavy commercial vehicle intelligent manufacturing factory, Sany heavy energy Sany wind power 5G+ Industrial Internet project three projects have been listed.
