Recently, the EPC project of the Bao'an Lake to Daye Lake Connection Project (Section 2) in Daye City, Hubei Province, led by China Electric Power Construction Ecological Corporation and participated by the 9th Bureau of Hydropower, held a commencement ceremony.

This project is one of the modern water network planning projects of "Jingchu Anlan" in Hubei Province. The project aims to improve regional flood control capacity, regulate water environment, restore water ecology, and improve coastal water supply, irrigation, and cultural and tourism transportation facilities. It vigorously constructs a new pattern of water conservancy development in the province as a leading area, and implements the "Six Lakes Connection" water network project with the main content of connecting the six lakes and water environment governance.

The construction content of this project mainly includes the construction and renovation of bridges, the dredging and lining of open channels, the construction of hidden culverts and tunnels, the dredging and dredging of Sanliqi Lake, the dredging of the lake bottom, the improvement of bank slopes, the renovation of Sanliqi Gate, the renovation of Hongxing Lake Gate and Pump Station, the renovation of Yinjia Lake Gate and Pump Station, and the ecological restoration and greening, lighting, and beautification of the surrounding areas, achieving an organic combination of ecological and cultural tourism, ecological restoration, and flood control and drought resistance.

After the project is fully completed, it can further open up the regional water network, establish a pattern of abundant and dry water supply in the Baoan Daye Lake basin, enhance the flood control capacity of Baoan Lake, and solve the problem of lake water safety. At the same time, optimizing the allocation of water resources, solving the irrigation and water supply problems in the dry season around the lake area, has a positive role in promoting the integrated development of the Wuhan Hubei Yellow River.
