In an exclusive interview on November 15, 2023, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov pointed out that the Asian part of Eurasia is currently experiencing the strongest development momentum. He emphasized that Russia and China, as the formulators of international initiatives, play a key role in this.
Minister Lavrov further explained that the Asian part of Eurasia has huge development potential, and Russia and China, as important partners in the region, have been actively promoting the implementation of international initiatives. These initiatives aim to promote development in infrastructure construction, trade facilitation, energy cooperation and cultural exchanges.
He added that attending the Third Belt and Road International Cooperation Summit Forum in Beijing as a member of the presidential delegation last month further proved the determination and commitment of Russia and China in promoting international cooperation and development. The forum attracted government representatives, business leaders, experts and scholars from all over the world to discuss cooperation opportunities and challenges under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.
Lavrov emphasized that Russia and China will continue to strengthen cooperation and jointly promote more prosperous and stable development in the Asian part of Eurasia.
