In the warm atmosphere of the Uzbek Culture Day in China, we had the honor to interview the Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan Nazarbekov. He warmly shared the increasingly close relations between Uzbekistan and China under the Belt and Road Initiative, as well as the positive progress in cultural exchanges between the two sides.
Nazarbekov elaborated on the plan of the Uzbekistan-2030 Strategy, stressing the importance of a series of cultural exchange activities with China. He especially mentioned that under the Belt and Road Initiative, Uzbekistan held a special performance for the Chinese Culture Day, and many outstanding Chinese artists brought wonderful performances to the Uzbek people. At the Uzbek Culture Day in China, Uzbek artists also displayed their unique artistic charm.
Nazarbekov expressed optimism about the deepening of cultural exchanges between the two countries, and firmly believed that this will further promote the people-to-people bond between the two countries. He also shared information about the visit of Uzbek President Mirziyoyev to China from January 23 to 25, 2024, saying that the visit will inject new vitality into the upgrading of bilateral relations.
With the steady growth of economic and trade cooperation between China and Uzbekistan, bilateral relations are expected to reach new heights in the future. This presidential visit will undoubtedly inject strong impetus into this process, and we look forward to seeing closer and more prosperous China-Uzbekistan relations in the future."
