On February 5, 2024, Changshu Yushan High tech Zone in Jiangsu Province signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Beijing Mingyang Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Both sides will work together in the field of hydrogen energy to build an advanced hydrogen equipment industry base in East China.

Mingyang Hydrogen Energy will build an industrial park in Yushan High tech Zone with an area of over 16000 square meters and an annual output of 2GW of hydrogen production equipment. Relying on the well-established high-end equipment manufacturing industry chain and convenient logistics network around the park, it will build a comprehensive hydrogen energy equipment manufacturing cluster for international and domestic use, and create China's high-end hydrogen energy industry business card with high-efficiency, high-performance, and high-quality products and services.

Hydrogen energy can be used as both energy and raw materials, as well as a carrier for energy conversion and storage, providing hydrogen storage for unstable wind and solar energy and promoting consumption. With the gradual release of hydrogen energy economy, various regions are accelerating the planning of renewable energy hydrogen production, and the development of green hydrogen will be greatly accelerated. According to analysis by Guojin Securities, since the release of the "Medium - and Long Term Plan for the Development of Hydrogen Energy Industry (2021-2035)" at the national level, various regions have actively planned for renewable energy hydrogen production. According to the corresponding hydrogen energy policy plans released by various regions, the total planned green hydrogen production capacity will reach 1 million tons in 2025 and 2.5 million tons in 2035, respectively. However, the current green hydrogen project production capacity that has been implemented is only 50000 tons.

From the perspective of overseas green hydrogen plans, the EU's planned green hydrogen production capacity by 2030 will reach 20 million tons, and the current total production capacity plan for the Middle East will reach 29.14 million tons. The green hydrogen industry is facing development opportunities in both domestic and foreign markets, and the demand for hydrogen production equipment such as electrolytic tanks will be the first to explode.
