Recently, the Administrative Office of Xing'an League in Inner Mongolia signed a significant cooperation and development agreement with CGN Wind Power Co., Ltd. and China National Chemical Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd., marking the official landing of CGN Xing'an League's 2 million kilowatt wind power hydrogen to methanol integrated project. This project, with a total investment of about 16 billion yuan, is expected to produce approximately 800000 tons of green methanol annually, injecting new vitality into the clean energy transformation of Inner Mongolia and even the whole country.

It is worth mentioning that this is not the first cooperation between CGN and Xing'an League. Previously, CGN had successfully implemented the 3 million kilowatt wind power project, the largest wind power base in operation on the mainland in China, in Xing'an League, achieving full capacity grid connection. This time, we will work together again to deepen our cooperation in the field of clean energy and jointly promote the vigorous development of the new energy industry.

Lingshang Xing'an League, this vast land is rich in scenic resources, with wind energy available up to 20 million kilowatts and an average annual utilization time of over 2800 hours. This unique advantage has made Xing'an League a fertile ground for the new energy industry, attracting numerous energy industry giants to invest and develop. CGN is one of them, crossing 3000 kilometers of mountains and rivers, and embarking on a journey of chasing the wind and chasing the sun in Xing'an League.

In October 2023, the Xing'an League Administrative Office and CGN worked together to plan a new round of comprehensive project resource development layout based on years of good cooperation, and signed a cooperation framework agreement. Both sides jointly outlined the development blueprint for the future clean energy industry, laying a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of the project.

In February 2024, the cooperation framework agreement officially took root. Against the backdrop of carbon peak and carbon neutrality, green methanol is gradually replacing the traditional heavy oil market. The implementation of the 2 million kilowatt wind power hydrogen to methanol integrated project in Xing'an League of China General Nuclear Corporation will effectively promote the initial development of the hydrogen energy industry in Xing'an League, achieving a breakthrough in production scale from small to large, industrial layout from dispersion to aggregation, and technological level from starting to leading. This is not only helpful for the transformation and upgrading development of the energy industry in Xing'an League, but also a concrete practice of taking a high-quality development path led by ecological priority and green development.

With the deepening of the project, Xing'an League will usher in a new chapter in the clean energy industry, injecting new impetus into the regional economic and social development.
