On February 18, 2024, the first phase of the Star Energy Technology Yujiang 16GWh Energy Storage System and Energy Operation Trading Center project, located in Yujiang District, Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province, was officially launched for construction. This project not only marks another important layout of Xingneng Technology in the field of new energy, but also will effectively promote the development of the new energy industry in Yujiang District and even the entire Jiangxi Province.

The proposed land area of the project is about 100 acres, and the planned annual production capacity scale is as high as 16GWh, demonstrating Xingneng Technology's ambitious vision for the new energy market. Among them, the production capacity scale of the first phase project is set at 4GWh, which will be implemented by Jiangxi Xingneng Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd.

The total construction area of the project is about 48130 square meters, of which the above ground construction area is about 47480 square meters and the underground construction area is about 650 square meters. In the planning and design, the project fully considers the combination of functionality and aesthetics. The construction content includes modern factory buildings, comfortable dormitories, exhibition halls that showcase the company's image, canteens that provide food, security guards, sufficient motor vehicle parking spaces, as well as convenient roads, beautiful landscapes, and green ancillary facilities.

The total investment of the project is about 635 million yuan, including an engineering construction investment of about 500 million yuan and other expenses of about 135 million yuan. These investments will be used to purchase advanced production equipment, build high-quality buildings, train professional employees, and promote the market.

The commencement of this project will undoubtedly inject new vitality into the development of the new energy industry in Yujiang District of Yingtan City and even the entire Jiangxi Province, bringing new opportunities and challenges to the local economy and social development.
