On February 27, 2024, the commencement of the Yongtai 10GWh lithium battery energy storage project was grandly held in Dafeng Port, Yancheng, Jiangsu Province. The launch of this project not only marks another major layout of Yongtai in the field of new energy, but also becomes a new engine to promote high-quality economic development in the Dafeng Port area of Yancheng, Jiangsu.

The total planned investment of this project is as high as 3.8 billion yuan, with a planned area of 380 acres. The first phase of the project has a total investment of 1.8 billion yuan and a planned area of 180 acres. The construction area of the first phase of the project has reached an astonishing 130000 square meters. It will build advanced production lines including module lines, PACK assembly lines, integrated system lines, as well as a new process MW level energy storage system integration and supporting core component production base. The construction of these facilities will provide strong hardware support for the production of Yongtai energy storage products.

After the completion of this project, it will achieve an annual production capacity of 10GWh for energy storage and related core components, providing strong support for Yongtai's continuous expansion in the field of new energy. At the same time, this will greatly promote the development of the new energy industry in the Dafeng Port area of Yancheng, Jiangsu, injecting new vitality into the economic growth of the region.
