On February 26, 2024, a grand groundbreaking ceremony was held at the Geely Star Energy Storage Equipment Manufacturing and System Integration Production Base in Danxian County. This is not only a new beginning, but also an important moment for the development of the new energy industry in Shan County to move towards a new chapter.

The total investment of this project is as high as 3 billion yuan, with an investment intensity of 13 million yuan per mu, demonstrating Geely Group's deep confidence and firm determination in this project. After the project is fully completed and put into operation, it is expected to achieve a sales revenue of up to 15.6 billion yuan, forming a complete upstream and downstream industrial chain from raw materials to end products. This will not only greatly promote the economic growth of individual counties, but also bring countless employment opportunities and new opportunities for industrial development to the local area.

This project is a smart energy storage system factory demonstration project carefully crafted by Geely Group, and it is also the only base for Geely Group to layout in the northern region of China. Its completion will not only become an important support and leading force for the development of the new energy industry in Shan County, but also help key industries in Shan County achieve new breakthroughs and provide strong wings for local economic takeoff.

Data shows that Star Energy Technology's smart energy series products are widely used in energy storage power stations and new infrastructure energy storage due to their high reliability, long lifespan, and high energy efficiency. Through the comprehensive effect of the battery system, renewable energy is combined with energy storage to achieve overall linkage and peak shaving and valley filling between power supply, grid, load, and energy storage, bringing greater advantages to the full lifecycle electricity cost of various application scenarios. The introduction and application of this technology will undoubtedly bring broader development prospects and huge market potential to the new energy industry in Dan County.
