On February 28, Wubao County, Shaanxi ushered in an important moment - the 5GWh energy storage system integration line project contract signing ceremony was held. The signing ceremony marks a solid step by Wubao County in the field of new energy, and also injected new vitality into the local economic development.

Mr. Chen Yaozhong, Governor of Wupu County, Mr. Geng Xiaozhong, General manager of CGN New Energy Shaanxi Branch, Mr. Lin Bin, executive director of Ruihaixun (Shanghai) New Energy Technology Co., LTD., and other leading guests attended the signing ceremony. On behalf of the three parties, they jointly signed a 5GWh energy storage system integration line project investment cooperation contract, and jointly witnessed this historic moment.

It is understood that the 5GWh energy storage system integration line project is the key project of Wubao County in 2024, and it is also the key project of Yulin City. The project is expected to invest a total of 500 million yuan, the first phase of the land scale of 70 acres. After the completion of the project, an annual output of 5GWh energy storage system production line will be formed, including workshops and ancillary facilities, mainly producing complete sets of energy storage equipment systems.

The implementation of this project will not only help promote the development of the new energy industry in Wubao County and enhance the competitiveness of the local economy, but also provide strong support for the energy structure transformation of Yulin City and even the entire Shaanxi Province. Through the introduction of advanced energy storage technology, the project will promote the large-scale application of renewable energy, reduce dependence on traditional energy sources, and make a positive contribution to environmental protection and sustainable development.

The project is expected to reach production by the end of May 2025. At that time, it will bring considerable economic and social benefits to Wubao County, promote local employment, and improve the quality of life of residents. At the same time, the project will also attract more upstream and downstream enterprises to settle in Wupu County, forming an industrial cluster effect and further promoting the prosperity and development of the local economy.
