On March 11, 2024, the groundbreaking ceremony of Chengdu Chuanhua Multimodal Transport Smart Hub Project was held in Xindu District, Chengdu. The project is expected to invest 1 billion yuan and aims to build a billion yuan level land port industrial park, radiating and driving the transformation and upgrading of traditional logistics in Xindu, improving quality and efficiency, and continuously contributing to the high-quality development of Xindu District.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, the relevant person in charge of Xindu District stated that currently, Xindu District is closely following the overall goal of building a city that fully embodies the new development concept in Chengdu, focusing on the three core functions of optimizing and strengthening intelligent manufacturing pilot area, Chengbei consumption vitality area, and Tianfu granary boutique area, and accelerating the construction of the northern center of Chengdu metropolitan area. The construction of the multimodal transportation smart hub project is of great significance for promoting the intelligent transformation and upgrading of the logistics industry in Xindu District, and driving high-quality regional economic development. We hope that Chuanhua Logistics Group can accelerate the project construction progress and collaborate with Chengdu International Railway Port to create a benchmark project for the Chengdu multimodal transportation smart logistics hub. Xindu District will uphold the concept of "enterprise first, service first", provide the highest quality policy support, factor guarantee, and government services, and promote win-win cooperation between the two sides in a wider range and deeper level.

The first phase of Chengdu Chuanhua North Center was officially put into operation in July 2024. The second phase of the construction project, which is expected to invest 1 billion yuan, is expected to be officially completed in December 2025. Against the backdrop of organic urban renewal and the upgrading of the logistics industry, the new project will focus on the integration of rail and public transportation, and create four core functional areas, including a multimodal transportation operation center, a supply chain service center for the integration of the two industries, a cross-border e-commerce distribution supervision center, and a cross-border commercial logistics headquarters base. The new project marks a milestone step in the transformation and upgrading of traditional logistics to modern smart logistics in Xindu District.

Next, Xindu District will take the construction of Chengdu Chuanhua Multimodal Transport Smart Hub Project as the starting point, focusing on high value-added areas such as public rail intermodal transportation, headquarters settlement, supply chain finance, and cross-border trade.
