Hebei Province, which continues to make efforts in the field of renewable energy, reached a new milestone on March 11, 2024. Hebei Provincial Development and Reform Commission officially issued the "Notice on organizing the declaration of 2024 wind power and photovoltaic power generation annual development and construction Program Project", indicating the direction for the future development of wind power and photovoltaic power generation in the province.

According to the "Notice" content, Hebei Province plans to arrange the scale of guaranteed grid-connected projects in 2024 to reach 15.97 million kilowatts, while the scale of market-oriented grid-connected projects is also determined to 14.03 million kilowatts. This decision aims to further promote the large-scale application of clean energy such as wind power and photovoltaic power generation in Hebei, and contribute to the renewable energy industry in the province and even the whole country.

As one of the focuses of the plan, the guarantee project will be completed and connected to the grid at full capacity by the end of 2026. Among them, the northern and southern Hebei network areas, according to their respective conditions, are configured with energy storage in accordance with 20%, 2 hours and 15%, 2 hours, respectively, to ensure the stability and reliability of power supply.

At the same time, the market grid connection project has also been given an important mission. These projects should be completed and connected to the grid at full capacity by the end of 2027, and declared according to the three modes of multi-energy complementary, source and grid charge and storage, or according to 20% and 4-hour configuration of energy storage.
