[Maersk launches direct flight from Shanghai to Australia] Maersk recently announced the launch of a new direct shipping route from China to Australia, with weekly operations connecting Shanghai, Sydney, and Melbourne. The first flight is scheduled to depart from Shanghai on July 24th, with a port of call sequence of Shanghai Sydney Melbourne. Compared to existing routes, the new route can shorten transportation time by 4 to 9 days, with significant time advantages, providing a more efficient sea freight option for trade logistics between China and Australia.
