On June 11, 2026, Ambassador Yao Wen attended the signing ceremony of the implementation agreement for the China Bangladesh Friendship Nine Bridge Project and delivered a speech. He witnessed the signing of the agreement with Ziauer, the Secretary General of the Bangladesh Road Transport and Expressway Bureau.

Ambassador Yao Wen reviewed the achievements of China's aid to Bangladesh over the years and expressed China's willingness to continue providing assistance to Bangladesh to the best of its ability, sharing development experience and knowledge and technology, supporting Bangladesh in achieving social stability, economic development, and improving people's livelihoods, injecting new vitality into China Bangladesh friendship and cooperation.
