Recently, the Kremlin has issued a heavy signal - Putin has officially approved the preliminary research and demonstration of the Moscow Minsk high-speed railway. This is not only a transportation milestone in the process of Russia Belarus integration, but also means that a cross-border high-speed railway with a designed speed of 400 kilometers per hour and a total length of 715 kilometers is about to move from blueprint to reality. It will compress the travel time between the two capitals to 3 hours and lay the groundwork for the upgrade of passenger transportation on the Eurasian Continental Bridge.

The project is planned to start from Moscow, pass through the Russia Belarus border and reach Minsk directly, with a total length of about 715 kilometers. Russia and Belarus have reached a consensus on joint promotion and plan to introduce diversified funds such as the Eurasian Development Bank for financing.
