[Full vanadium energy storage landing in Xinjiang]On June 22, 2026, the Three Gorges Group Xinjiang Jimsar Million Photovoltaic Supporting Vanadium Liquid Flow Energy Storage Project was fully put into commercial operation one month ahead of schedule. The project is located in Jimsar County, Changji, with an energy storage capacity of 200000 kilowatts/1 million kilowatt hours, making it the largest all vanadium liquid flow energy storage power station in China. Relying on long-term energy storage technology, the equipment is safe, durable, and easy to expand. The project generates an average of 1.72 billion kilowatt hours of electricity annually, saving 519000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 1.424 million tons.Editor/Gong Ziwei
