[The world's largest LNG ship starts construction in Zhonghua, eastern Shanghai] The world's first batch of 271000 cubic meters QC Max ultra large LNG transport ships has officially started construction at China Shipbuilding Hudong Zhonghua. The cargo capacity of this ship has increased by 57% compared to mainstream 174000 cubic meters, and its performance meets international top standards. Hudong Zhonghua holds nearly 60 LNG ship orders scheduled for delivery after 2030, with the first ship expected to be delivered in 2028, filling the global LNG capacity gap and showcasing China's high-end shipbuilding capabilities.
