Five major projects of Hainan Huanxinying Bay Free Trade Port have been launched

Danzhou plans to develop the economy of the Bay Area to promote the integration of port, industry, city, and science in the surrounding Xinying Bay area. On December 5, 2023, the construction project of the Huanxin Yingwan Free Trade Port New City in Danzhou City was officially launched. On that day, five projects began construction, with a total investment of 12.525 billion yuan. The implementation of this project will accelerate the development of the New Ying Bay area and create new growth poles for the high-quality development of Hainan Free Trade Port.

The Huanxinying Bay area is the core area for the integrated development of Danzhou and Yangpu in Hainan. It is the hinterland extension of the Yangpu Economic Development Zone, a leading and demonstration area of Hainan Free Trade Port. It is committed to leveraging the policies of Hainan Free Trade Port to develop the economy of the bay area and build a "port industry city science integration" composite city.

The projects that started on the same day covered areas such as digital economy, secondary education, and public service facilities. At the event site, five projects including Runze Free Trade Port International Data Industry Park, Huaneng Nuclear Power Service Guarantee Base, Xinyingwan Huanggang Senior Experimental High School, Huanwan New Area Neighborhood Center, and Shendan Science and Technology Innovation Center began construction. After the completion of the project, it will further improve the public service facilities of the Huanwan New City and consolidate the industrial foundation of the Huanwan New City.

Among them, the Runze Free Trade Port International Data Industry Park project plans to use 246 acres of land with a total investment of 10.2 billion yuan, and will be constructed in two phases. The construction content includes a high-performance commercial intelligent computing center, a large model dataset cache computing power node, a rapid response center and office building, a research and development building, a power station and other related supporting infrastructure. After the completion of the project, it will lay the foundation for cultivating a number of digital industry clusters in Danzhou, including cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, industrial internet, blockchain, and 5G applications.

The total land area of the New Yingwan Huanggang Senior Experimental High School project is 96.6 acres, with a total investment of about 400 million yuan. It will be constructed in two phases and is a full-time private ordinary high school (including the international department) with a design scale of 2400 degrees. After the project is completed, it can meet the local demand for high-quality educational resources.

Danzhou is taking Singapore and other important international port cities as an example, making the New England Bay Area the core development area, and is committed to making it the most dynamic and promising area among Hainan's free trade ports. Editor/Zhao E
