On January 28, 2024, the Nanyang High Speed Rail New City Cultural and Tourism Demonstration Project officially began construction. This is a key cultural and tourism project planned by the Nanyang Municipal Party Committee and Government, and an important measure for Nanyang to implement the strategy of attracting customers to enter Lithuania.

The total planned land area of the project reaches 568.60 acres, with a total investment of approximately 3.6 billion yuan, and a grand scale. The project will be constructed in two phases, one of which will include multiple parts such as theme blocks, indoor entertainment water complexes, theme hotels, supporting parking lots, and infrastructure engineering, aiming to create a comprehensive project that integrates culture, tourism, and commerce. The positioning of the Nanyang High speed Rail New City Cultural and Tourism Demonstration Project is very clear, aiming to build the first large-scale Han Dynasty new Chinese style theme block in the country with strong Han culture as the background, while also creating a fully immersive theme block with Nanyang style as the main theme. This project will integrate the historical and modern elements of Nanyang, providing tourists with a unique tourism experience.

The construction goal of the project is to create a comprehensive center for the integration of culture, commerce, and tourism in the eastern new city of Nanyang, stimulate the vitality of the high-speed rail new city area, ignite the Nanyang tourism brand, and become a new business card for Chinese original tourism. Through this project, Nanyang will further enhance its tourism brand image, attract more tourists to come for sightseeing and tourism, and promote the development of the local economy.

In short, the commencement of the Nanyang High speed Rail New City Cultural and Tourism Demonstration Project will inject new vitality into the cultural and tourism industry in Nanyang and bring new opportunities for local economic development.
