On February 5, 2024, following the completion and acceptance of the first milestone project, the Tonghai Community Ecological Parking Lot, another important milestone in the eastern section of Quanzhou Binhai Ecological Romance Line - the Fenghai Road Wanfu Street Ruitai Street renovation and upgrading project - began construction recently. The project is planned to be completed and put into use in September 2024. After completion, it will help achieve the main line of the Romantic Line, further improve the quality of the waterfront environment, and showcase the beautiful bay area and elegant coastline of Quanzhou.

It is reported that the Fenghai Road (Wanfu Street Ruitai Street) renovation and upgrading project starts at the intersection of Hechangzhi Park and Luobin Road in Qiaonan Community, Wan'an Street, and ends at the parking lot of Tonghai Community, with a total length of 2.6 kilometers. The main renovation and upgrading scope of the project is the auxiliary road and inner pedestrian area. By adjusting the form of the road section, a romantic main line consisting of cycling, running, and slow walking roads with a width of about 8.5 to 11 meters will be built. Three observation platforms and wave walls along the coast will be synchronously renovated, and the coastal greenery will be sorted and improved to create a coastal road that combines auxiliary road transportation and the riverside slow walking system, enriching the viewing experience for the surrounding residents Increase leisure and recreational space.

Considering that some areas of the project are located within the scope of the World Heritage Protection Zone and buffer zone, a segmented and phased implementation will be adopted to promote the renovation and upgrading. We will adhere to overall planning and optimization of processes, implement map based operations, improve quality and efficiency, and ensure that the project is completed on time at this milestone.
