On March 14, the company signed the 220MW photovoltaic power plant project in Vizkara, Algeria. The Minister of Energy and Mines, the Minister of Environment and New Energy, and the chairman of the Algerian Electricity and Gas Group attended the signing ceremony.
The project is located in the north-central Algerian province of Vizcala, the total installed capacity of the power station is 220MW, the owner is Algeria Electricity and Gas Group - New Energy Company, the contract type is EPC total price contract, the planned period of 16 months, The main construction content includes photovoltaic power station and transmission line design, engineering, civil construction, supply, transportation, installation, training, commissioning and trial operation. The project is one of the first projects initiated by Algeria to realize the New Energy Vision 2035.
The successful signing of the project has further expanded the company's share in Algeria's new energy market, which is of great significance for enhancing the company's market influence in Algeria's new energy field and continuously consolidating and expanding the new energy market.
