100MW wind power TV is installed on the ground

In May 2026, Plenitude Kazakhstan won the development rights for a 100 MW wind power project in Aktobe state through an auction. The project is planned to be constructed between 2026 and 2028, with an average annual power generation of 400 gigawatt hours after commissioning, which will effectively enhance the local clean energy supply capacity.

Oil companies transform into green energy track

As a traditional oil and gas giant, Eni Group is accelerating its energy transition. In addition to wind power projects, the company is also collaborating with Kazakhstan National Oil and Gas Company to develop a 247 MW integrated energy power plant in the Mangystau region, expected to be completed by 2026, forming a complementary layout between traditional and new energy sources. Deepening Eurasian Green Energy Cooperation

Kazakhstan is relying on high-quality wind energy resources in the western region and vigorously introducing foreign investment to accelerate the transformation of its energy structure. European energy companies are deeply involved in the construction of a green economy in Central Asia through a dual line layout of oil and gas and new energy, promoting sustainable regional economic development.Editor/Gao Xue
