Clean and renewable energy is the only way for the world's energy development. Nuclear power, as a clean and efficient energy, has once again been put on the development agenda of many countries. The installation of the world's first land-based commercial small modular reactor, the "Linglong 1" nuclear island, in Changjiang Li Autonomous County, Hainan Province, has started. The project implemented this time is the installation sub-item of pipeline support and hanger of reactor building, which is the infrastructure connecting nuclear island and conventional island.

"Linglong No.1" is a multi-functional modular small pressurized water reactor (PWR) developed by CNNC with independent intellectual property rights. It is also the world's first onshore commercial small modular reactor under construction. The nuclear island is the core of the entire nuclear power plant and will be used to install major equipment such as pressure vessels and steam generators.

The "Linglong 1" demonstration project began construction on July 13, 2021, with a planned total construction period of 58 months. The small reactor has the characteristics of high safety, short construction period and flexible deployment. It can be used as a distributed energy, and can also meet the needs of seawater desalination, district heating and industrial heating.
