On June 28, 2023, the renovation project of Shaheyi Town Station on the Shuicao Railway, undertaken by the Fifth Company of China Railway 18th Bureau Group, has successfully completed the blockade operation. With the smooth opening of microcomputer interlocking and the completion of the upgrade and transformation of the station control system, the railway transportation efficiency can be greatly improved.

It is understood that the Shuicao Railway is listed by the State Council as a key railway construction project to promote transportation structure adjustment. It is located in Tangshan, Hebei Province, passing through five counties, namely Qian'an City, Guye District, Luanzhou, Luannan County, and Caofeidian District. The north end of the line is connected to the Shuichang Station of the Beishui Line, and the reserved connecting line in the middle is connected to the Jinshan Line, the Beijing Harbin Line, and the Qiluan Line. The south end reaches the Caofeidian Port area of Port of Tangshan. The total length of the line is about 97 kilometers. The Shaheyi Town Station for this renovation is located within the territory of Shaheyi Town, Qian'an City. It mainly undertakes the transportation of group goods at Shougang and the loading and unloading of loose and stacked goods within the station and on dedicated lines.

The renovation of Shaheyi Town Station includes the extension of the station's arrival and departure line, the removal of existing switches, the insertion of new switches, as well as the construction of a new signal machinery room, a new computer interlocking system, and a train dispatching command system. The renovation includes 39 sets of hard crossbeams for the overhead contact network in Shaheyi Town Station, the replacement of 30.7 kilometers of contact network cables, the renovation of 60 sets of interlocking switches, 72 track sections, and 57 signal machines.

The construction time is short and the task is heavy. After the skylight point is completed, the line needs to be opened, and the construction quality and technical control are the difficulties of this construction. It needs to be smoothly opened while ensuring the construction progress.
