On the morning of July 3, 2023, the mobilization meeting for the third batch of major projects in Anhui Province was held in Hefei. There were a total of 1126 major projects under construction, with a total investment of 690.1 billion yuan.

The kick-off mobilization meeting will be held by connecting the video of the main venue to each branch venue. The main venue will be located in the provincial Administrative centre, and each provincial city will have branch venues. There are a total of 1126 major projects under construction this time, with a total investment of 690.1 billion yuan. The annual planned investment is 132.12 billion yuan, involving multiple industries such as manufacturing, infrastructure, and livelihood engineering. Among them, the annual planned investment in manufacturing projects accounts for 67.5% of the total annual planned investment in this mobilization project.

Hefei will start 93 mobilization projects in the third batch in 2023, with a total investment of 81.24 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 11.35 billion yuan. Among them, there are 21 projects worth over 1 billion yuan, with a total investment of 57.78 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 5.67 billion yuan.

Among the sub industries, there are 61 manufacturing projects with a total investment of 52.16 billion yuan, with an average investment of 7.79 million yuan per mu; 34 high-tech projects with a total investment of 32.01 billion yuan. Representative projects include Huasheng 5GW high-efficiency heterojunction battery and module project, Licheng high-end inhalation and complex formulation research and production project, Hefei Advanced Light Source project, and 3.6GW heterojunction stacked battery and module project.

The Hefei Advanced Light Source project has received official national approval, and the overall planning and design plan of the project has been completed and publicly announced. Hefei Advanced Light Source will be the world's most advanced fourth generation Synchrotron light source in Asia's only low-energy area, and a major scientific and technological infrastructure laid out and constructed during the 14th Five Year Plan period. After its completion, it will support key core technology research in fields such as quantum materials, integrated circuit non-destructive testing, energy storage conversion materials, combustion and catalytic mechanisms, and major disease mechanisms, and support the high-quality development of related industries.

The Huasheng 5GW high-efficiency heterojunction battery and component project plans to create a modern chemical plant with the largest single unit production capacity, optimal process, most advanced technology, highest automation and intelligence, and the most intensive cost in the heterojunction industry, becoming a lighthouse factory for the global heterojunction industry.Editor/Ma Xue
