On August 31, 2023, the signing ceremony of the investment and cooperation agreement for the Wencheng pumped storage power station project was held, marking a crucial step forward and entering a new stage in the construction of the Wencheng pumped storage power station project.

It is understood that the Wencheng Pumped Storage Power Station is located in Yuhu Town, Wencheng County, Zhejiang Province, and is located in the mountainous area of southern Zhejiang. It is approximately 5.3km away from Yuhu Town, 13.7km away from the county town, and 52km away from Wangjia Substation. The power station has convenient access to the system and good power supply and transmission conditions. The total installed capacity of the power station is 1200MW, and after completion, it will mainly undertake tasks such as peak shaving, valley filling, energy storage, frequency regulation, phase modulation, and emergency backup for the Zhejiang power grid.

The successful signing of this project is not only a strategic choice for government and enterprise advantages to complement each other and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, but also a good opportunity for sincere cooperation and joint progress among the four parties. It will definitely effectively promote the development of Wencheng's new energy industry onto a fast track and open up new space.

The four contracting parties will work together to focus on the milestones and progress, promote the early approval, construction, and operation of the Wencheng pumped storage power station, and leverage the economic, social, and ecological benefits of the project.
