On January 26, China NENGjian Northwest Power Construction received the notice of acceptance of the 400kV substation project in Kigoma-Nyakainaz, Tanzania, officially issued by SEANENC, South Korea. This news marks a new breakthrough for China Can Build in the Tanzanian market, and is also an important achievement of the international Group to play the leading and overall responsibility, cooperate with member enterprises, and strengthen cooperation in the third-party market.
The project, funded by the Export-Import Bank of Korea, includes the expansion of an existing 400/220kV substation in Nyakainaz and the construction of a new 400/132/33kV substation in Kigoma. The implementation of this project will help to upgrade Tanzania's energy infrastructure and further promote the country's economic development.
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Tanzania, and bilateral economic and trade cooperation has been continuously deepened.
