On March 12, 2024, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for the 400000 kilowatt wind power project of Hongliuquan Phase II in Yumen, Gansu. This marks an important step in the development of the region in the field of new energy, with far-reaching significance in multiple aspects.
This project is one of the first large-scale wind and photovoltaic base construction projects with a focus on deserts, Gobi, and desert areas in the country. It is invested and constructed by Jiuquan Hongsheng New Energy (Yumen) Co., Ltd. with a total investment of 1.508 billion yuan and a total installed capacity of 400000 kilowatts. The plan is to build a 400000 kilowatt wind power project at the Hongliuquan Wind and Photovoltaic Storage Comprehensive Energy Demonstration Base, with a single unit capacity of 6.25 megawatts and 64 wind turbines installed. After completion and operation, the available utilization hours are 2876 hours, with an annual online power generation of about 1.15 billion kilowatt hours. It can save 368000 tons of standard coal annually and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 1.0925 million tons. The energy-saving and emission reduction effect is significant.
