On January 26, 2024, there was good news from the Fujian Power department that the 220 kV Chicuo-Huatang line project, which has attracted much attention, had been successfully completed. As a key project in Fujian Province, this milestone not only strengthens the power connection between regions, but also injects new vitality into the economic development of Fujian Province and even neighboring provinces.

The total length of the line project is about 30 kilometers, of which the overhead line part reaches 23.68 kilometers, and the cross-sea length of the line is more than 14 kilometers. Such a scale is relatively rare in similar projects in China, highlighting the determination and strength of Fujian Province in power infrastructure.

In order to ensure the smooth progress of the project, a total of 79 new towers were built, of which 30 towers were located in the sea. Such a design not only increases the difficulty of the project, but also brings no small challenge to the construction team. In the face of the complex Marine environment and changing climatic conditions, the construction team overcame many difficulties to ensure the timely completion of the project.

The completion of the project not only strengthens the power connection between Chichu and Huatang, but also adds new stability to the power network of the whole Fujian Province. At the same time, for the Marine economic development of Fujian Province, this project is also crucial, providing a strong power support for the Marine industry.
