In order to promote the construction and operation management of Jixi General Airport, and deepen the development cooperation of the aviation industry. Recently, the government of Jixi County in Anhui Province and Anhui Provincial Aviation Holding Group reached an important cooperation consensus, and the two sides officially signed a cooperation agreement. This cooperation will bring new development opportunities to Jixi County, promote the rapid development of the local economy and society, and also effectively promote the flourishing of the aviation industry in Anhui Province.

Next, both sides will establish a dedicated team to accelerate the construction and operation of general airports with high standards, and simultaneously plan related aviation industries to jointly attract high-quality aviation projects and better promote local low altitude economic development.

Jixi General Airport is a key project in the Anhui Province General Airport Layout Plan (2019-2035). It is an A1 class general airport and plans to build a 1200m long x 30m wide runway, air traffic control, terminal and other related supporting facilities. The project is located on the southwest side of Hongtang Village, Linxi Town, Jixi County. After the project is completed, it will mainly carry out short distance transportation, sightseeing tourism, aerial surveying and mapping, aviation forest protection, and emergency rescue services, which will play an important role in improving the local comprehensive transportation system and promoting local economic and social development. We are currently preparing for the construction of the access road and expect to start construction in July.

The construction of this project will greatly promote the development of industries such as general aviation tourism, aviation logistics, and short distance passenger transportation. With the construction and operation of the airport, Jixi County will be able to attract more tourists and goods, promoting the prosperity of tourism and logistics industry.
