In the Northeast, the development of transportation networks is crucial to the prosperity of the regional economy. Recently, China Railway 20 Bureau Group Co., Ltd. came the good news that the Shenzhenbai high-speed railway Changsheng Tunnel built by them was successfully connected in Tonghua City, Jilin Province. As a single-hole double-track tunnel, this tunnel not only has the characteristics of deep burial, but also faces a complex geographical environment. The maximum buried depth is about 19.5 meters, under the G303 National road, the geological conditions are changeable, the surrounding rock is dominated by silty clay, high water content, and the rock is broken, which brings great challenges to the construction.

Under such complex geological conditions, China Railway 20 Bureau Group has successfully overcome various difficulties by virtue of superb construction technology and rigorous management. At present, the progress of the entire project has exceeded 90%, and it is expected to be fully completed by 2025.

The construction of Shenzhen-Bai-Bai high-speed railway is not only of great significance to improve the layout of the northeast regional fast passenger transport network, but also a key part of the construction of the Northeast East railway fast channel. Its completion will greatly enhance the convenience of transportation in Northeast China, shorten the time and space distance between cities, and promote the development of regional economic integration.

In addition, the Shenzhen-Bai high-speed railway will also speed up the urbanization process of cities along the line and further optimize the urban spatial layout. At the same time, it will play a positive role in promoting the development of tourism resources along the route, the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure and the improvement of tourism quality. Through this high-speed railway line, the natural scenery and cultural landscape of the northeast region will be more widely disseminated and promoted, attracting more tourists to visit and experience.

In general, the achievements made by China Railway 20 Bureau Group in the construction of the Shenzhen-Bai high-speed railway Changsheng Tunnel are not only an affirmation of their professional and technical capabilities, but also a recognition of their contribution to promoting the development of regional transportation in Northeast China.
