In 2024, the Inner Mongolia section of the Taizi City to Xilinhot Railway project will invest 1.25 billion yuan and make every effort to orderly promote the construction of multiple projects according to the scheduled time nodes.
Within this year, we will continue to promote the construction of buildings, four electrical engineering, and civil engineering for the Xilinhot to Zhenglan Banner section and the Zhenglan Banner to provincial boundary section, and accelerate the implementation of the new (renovated) railway Taizi City to Xilinhot Line's three electrical engineering and pipeline relocation projects.
In terms of station building construction along the line, it is planned to complete the main body and partial decoration and renovation project of Xilinhot Station's new station building, the renovation of existing intermediate platforms, and the construction of overpasses within the scope of existing intermediate platforms before October 31st. After the construction is completed, the new station building will have the conditions for use and will be able to use the new station building and existing intermediate platforms for passenger reception and dispatch; The plan is to complete the secondary structure and roof engineering of Sangenda North Station and Zhenglanqi Station, as well as the main body engineering of Taipusiqi Station before the end of October. At the same time, we will make every effort to achieve the construction goal of "Green Action in Calling".
In 2023, the construction of the Inner Mongolia section of the Taixi Railway achieved phased results, with the completion of land acquisition and demolition, as well as the handling of land procedures for construction projects. The three power and pipeline relocation project of the Xilinhot to Zhenglan Banner section of the Taixi Railway, the supporting power supply project for the electrification transformation of the Taixi Railway, and the electrification railway of the Xilinhot to Zhenglan Banner section were successively completed or opened.
In terms of station building construction along the line, the Taixi Railway involves the construction of four passenger stations. Xilinhot Station, Sangendalai North Station, and Zhenglanqi Station started construction last year. In 2023, Xilinhot Station completed 20% of the total construction area, Sangendalai North Station completed 30% of the total construction area, and Zhenglanqi Station completed 20% of the total construction area.
It is understood that the planned investment amount for the Taixi Railway project in 2023 is 1.25 billion yuan, and as of now, 100% of the investment plan has been completed. Due to climate restrictions, the construction of buildings and the four electrical projects have been suspended, and work is planned to resume in April.
The railway line from Taizicheng to Xilinhot starts from Taizicheng Station on the Chongli Railway in the south, and there are four passenger stations in the Inner Mongolia section, including Taipusiqi Station, Zhenglanqi Station, Sangendalai North Station, and Xilinhot Station.
After the completion of the project, it will fill the gap in the railway from Xilingol League and the northern region of Zhangjiakou to Beijing, reducing the direct travel time to 4 hours and 30 minutes. After the electrification transformation of the integrated railway, it will achieve rapid access to the capital of the autonomous region, Hohhot, and greatly improve the travel conditions for passengers in Xilingol League.
