Recently, Guangxi Energy released a notice on the proposed investment in the construction of the Eight Step Renyi Wind Farm project. According to the announcement, Guangxi Energy Co., Ltd. plans to invest 767 million yuan to build the Babu Renyi wind farm project.

The project is located in the western mountainous area of Butou Town, Hezhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The maximum east-west span of the site is about 9.2km, and the maximum north-south span is about 11.9km. The straight-line distance between the center of the site and Hezhou City is 27km. The total planned installed capacity of the project is 100MW, and 20 wind turbines with a single unit capacity of 5MW are designed and installed. This project will construct one 220 kV outgoing line, which will be connected to the booster station of Guangzhou Hezhou Power Plant and integrated into the Guidong Power Grid. The total construction period of the project is 12 months.

Wind power, as a sustainable and clean energy source, has long-term power generation capabilities and can effectively alleviate dependence on fossil fuels, reduce carbon emissions, and thus contribute to addressing global climate change.
