Recently, the centralized signing ceremony for the first batch of public distributed photovoltaic projects in Yongkang City was held at the Yongkang Conference Center. Yongkang Industry Investment Group signed strategic agreements with the Education Bureau and Health Bureau, and 10 units including Yongkang Tax Bureau and Yongkang Middle School signed centralized contracts with Yifeng Photovoltaic Co., Ltd. The total amount of contracts exceeded 5 million yuan, with a planned installed capacity of 1.5 megawatts and an estimated annual power generation of about 1.6 million kilowatt hours. The development and trial construction of rooftop distributed photovoltaics is an important measure to implement the national "dual carbon" strategy. This centralized signing injects new momentum into promoting the energy-saving, green and low-carbon transformation of public institutions, and lays a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the energy industry transformation in Yongkang City.

At the signing ceremony, Yongkang Industry Investment Group provided a detailed introduction to the overview and progress of public photovoltaic construction in Yongkang City; Zhidunxun, Deputy Director of the Development and Reform Bureau of Yongkang City, made detailed arrangements for the next steps of public photovoltaic construction in the city; Zhou Jianwei, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Office Affairs Service Center of Yongkang City, requested all signing departments to increase cooperation, publicity and promotion efforts, timely solve practical problems in the project construction process, promote the development and construction of the first batch of roof distributed photovoltaic with high standards, quality, and efficiency, and strive to form a successful model with demonstration and promotion significance, to help the development of the new energy industry in Yongkang City.

In the early stage, the Yongkang Municipal Office Affairs Service Center, in conjunction with the Municipal Photovoltaic Power Generation Application Work Leading Group and the Municipal Industry and Investment Group, conducted a survey on the roofs of 14 government agencies, 74 schools, 20 hospitals, 14 town block office buildings, and 21 state-owned asset public buildings in the city. After calculation, the available area is 273000 square meters, with a total installed capacity of about 55 megawatts. According to the Notice on Issuing the Pilot Implementation Plan for Distributed Photovoltaic Development on Roofs in Yongkang City, by the end of 2024, the usable area of the roofs of public buildings such as party and government organs, public institutions, public schools, public hospitals, and state-owned enterprises in Yongkang City should achieve 100% installation of photovoltaic power generation systems.Editor/Zhao E
