Recently, the groundbreaking ceremony of the 360 MW complementary photovoltaic project for fishing and solar energy in Dongshang, Jiangsu Province was grandly held in Ganyu District, Lianyungang City. The project adopts the "complementary fishing and light" model, fully utilizing the area of fishing ponds, combining photovoltaic power generation and fishery aquaculture, forming a composite industrial model of "water power generation and underwater aquaculture", which is conducive to achieving efficient utilization of land resources and ecological development, enhancing the economic value of unit land area, and creating a "new sample" of clean energy development.
This project is the first EPC general contracting new energy project of China Electric Power Construction Chengdu Institute in Jiangsu Province. It is located in Dunshang Town, Ganyu District, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province. The scale of the AC side is 360 MW, and the scale of the DC side is about 457 MW. It is supported by the construction of a 220 kV booster station, equipped with 36 MW/72 MW energy storage, and transmitted to the Aitang substation through a 220 kV transmission line. The plan is to connect to the grid at full capacity by September 30, 2024.
Chengdu Institute has built multiple major complementary photovoltaic projects for fishing and solar energy, with rich construction experience. After the completion of the Dongshang project, an average of 616 million kilowatt hours of clean electricity can be provided to the power grid every year, saving about 190100 tons of standard coal, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 473900 tons, and sulfur dioxide emissions by about 76.81 tons. This will effectively promote the local energy green and low-carbon transformation, and help achieve the national strategic goals of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality". Editor/Zhao E
