On the morning of March 2, 2024, Tianjin Binhai New Area held a grand resumption of work for key projects in the first quarter of 2024. This event involves a total of 449 key projects, with a total investment of 587.1 billion yuan, demonstrating the firm determination and strong strength of Binhai New Area in economic construction. Of particular note, the Phase I project of Zhonghuan Information Group's photovoltaic cells is also among them. The project is located in the north of Zhongxin Tianjin Ecological City and is expected to produce 8GW of high-efficiency N-type TOPCon cells annually, injecting new vitality into the development of Tianjin's new energy industry.

Lin Xiaohua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Tianjin Zhonghuan Information Industry Group Co., Ltd., stated at the ceremony that the Phase I project of Zhonghuan Information Group's photovoltaic cells covers an area of approximately 407 acres, with a planned new construction area of approximately 190000 square meters. At present, all preparations before the project starts are ready, and after production, it will effectively promote the coordinated development of the upstream and downstream of the photovoltaic industry, strengthen the overall competitiveness of the industrial chain, and promote the large-scale development of the entire industrial chain.
