On March 6, 2024, Guangxi Energy held a centralized commencement ceremony for the construction of photovoltaic power generation projects in Hezhou City, Guangxi. This is the first batch of new energy projects that Guangxi Energy has started construction.

The three projects that have started construction this time are the photovoltaic power generation project in the Jingnan Power Station area of Wuzhou, the distributed photovoltaic project on the roof of Zhengrun New Materials, and the distributed photovoltaic power generation project on the roof of Tianhe Investment. The planned total installed capacity on the DC side is about 10.37 MW, with a total investment of about 42.69 million yuan. After three projects are put into operation, they can provide about 10.67 million kilowatt hours of clean electricity annually, save about 3300 tons of standard coal, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 9135 tons, sulfur dioxide emissions by about 61 tons, and nitrogen oxide emissions by about 92 tons, which has good ecological and social benefits.

It is reported that the concentrated commencement ceremony of this photovoltaic power generation project construction is a specific measure taken by Guangxi Energy to implement and promote the high-quality development of new energy, accelerate the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient modern energy system, and create a "zero carbon" energy listed enterprise goal.
