On March 10, 2024, Daye Co., Ltd. announced that the decentralized power generation project declared by the company was included in the Implementation Plan of the Provincial Energy Green and Low Carbon Transformation Pilot issued by Shandong Development and Reform Commission and Shandong Energy Bureau, and formally obtained the approval certificate of Weifang fixed assets investment project issued by Weifang Administrative Examination and Approval Service Bureau on March 8.

According to the announcement, Daye Group has obtained approval certificates for four decentralized wind power projects, with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan. They plan to build wind turbines with a total capacity of 200 megawatts in various cities, with a total annual power generation capacity of over 500 million kilowatt hours.

After the project is completed and put into use, it will not only greatly reduce the company's production costs, but more importantly, it will help the company accelerate the construction of a "zero carbon" industrial park, effectively respond to international trade rules such as the "carbon border regulation mechanism", and lead the industry in green, low-carbon, high-quality and sustainable development.
