Across mountains and rivers to Cox's Bazar in southeastern Bangladesh. This place not only bears the high expectations of the Bangladeshi people, but also bears witness to the solid progress of China-Bangladesh friendship and cooperation. The reporter came to Cox's Bazar in southeastern Bangladesh and visited the country's first centralized wind power project - Koba Wind Power project. The project is a good example of cooperation between China and Bangladesh under the Belt and Road Initiative, injecting new impetus into Bangladesh's energy supply and economic development.

The project is located near Chittagong City, the economic powerhouse of Bangladesh, and covers an area of more than 100 hectares. By utilizing abundant wind energy resources, the project will produce hundreds of millions of KWH of clean electricity per year to meet the needs of some local industries and residents. The successful construction of this project will not only help reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Bangladesh and improve environmental quality, but also strongly promote the development and prosperity of the local economy.

As one of the important achievements of the China-Bangladesh Belt and Road Initiative, the successful implementation of the Koba Wind power project not only demonstrates China's leading technology and rich experience in the field of renewable energy, but also demonstrates China's firm commitment to global sustainable development. During the operation of the project, the company will actively fulfill its corporate social responsibility and carry out extensive cooperation with the local government and all sectors of society to promote the local social and economic development.

In addition, the project has significant economic and social benefits. It is estimated that the project will create hundreds of thousands of jobs for Bangladesh every year and drive the development of related industrial chains. At the same time, the clean electricity generated by the project will also effectively alleviate the local electricity shortage and help achieve the national energy security and stable economic development goals.

The successful construction and operation of the Koba Wind power project will not only become another important milestone in the friendly cooperation between China and Bangladesh, but also become an important example of global clean energy development. We look forward to deepening mutually beneficial cooperation with Bangladesh in the future and jointly promoting the process of global energy transition and sustainable development.
