The China-Myanmar oil and gas Pipeline, this magnificent energy artery, rises from the eastern coast of the Indian Ocean, passes through the vast land of Myanmar, and finally reaches Ruili in Yunnan, China, becoming China's fourth strategic energy import channel. It is not only an important guarantee for China's energy security, but also a shining pearl of pilot demonstration projects under the Belt and Road Initiative.

The pipeline has been running steadily for a full decade since it was put into operation. In this decade, it has shipped a staggering 40 billion cubic meters of natural gas and more than 63 million tons of crude oil. Behind this figure, it not only represents the increasing diversification of China's energy import channels, but also symbolizes the close cooperation and win-win development between China and Myanmar in the energy field.

The completion and operation of the China-Myanmar oil and gas pipeline has not only greatly eased the pressure on China's energy supply, provided a solid energy guarantee for economic and social development, but also brought unprecedented development opportunities for Myanmar. The construction and operation of this pipeline has created a large number of employment opportunities for Myanmar, driven the development of local related industries, and greatly promoted the rapid growth of Myanmar's economy.

In addition, the construction of the China-Myanmar oil and gas pipeline has also promoted the exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in the fields of culture, science and technology. Through this project, the two peoples have deepened mutual understanding and friendship, laying a solid foundation for building a China-Myanmar community with a shared future.

Looking ahead, the China-Myanmar oil and gas pipeline will continue to play an important role in the energy sector and inject new vitality into the economic and social development of the two countries. At the same time, we also look forward to more cooperation projects taking root under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative and jointly writing a new chapter in China-Myanmar friendly cooperation.
